        The robin dog costume I ordered was too large for my dog, even though he fell within the advertised medium weight range (approx. 30 lbs.). He is a beagle mix with longer than average legs, but the costume legs were to long and he kept tripping over them. I ended up taking the costume apart, removing about 2 inches from the length and resewing the entire thing. If I had ordered earlier I would have returned it to try a size smaller. If your dog is on the lower end of the weight range, I would recommend ordering a size smaller.
