My son is 23 lbs at 11 months and I was worried the 6-12 month wouldn't fit but it was perfect and still has some room to grow. And the Dora outfit his Sister wore pulled the whole thing togeher!

I bought this for my infant son (6 months old) to wear on Halloween since his sister (3) was wearing a Dora costume. It worked perfect. I think I ordered the 12 month size b/c some of the reviews said it ran small. It was a little roomy on my 17lb. 6 month old, but that left the perfect amount of room for layers underneath when we went out trick or treating since it was so cold. And even though the material is a thin, polyster material, the top "face" part did a great job of keeping his head warm in 50 degree weather without an additional hat. And overall, you can't beat the price!

Choosing a size was tough. My baby will be 3.5 months old @ Halloween but he's long enough that we're in (and almost out of) 6-9 month clothes. I ordered 6-12 months and am glad I did. The arm and torso length are fine for him with enough room to layer up underneath. (The material is really thin and would definitely not keep a baby warm on a cool fall night.) The legs are really are really long but since he can't stand/walk it's not really a problem. The flip side is that my little guy's head is on the smaller side so the 6-12 mo head piece is kind of big but he'll probably need another hat under it anyway.

In person, it looks more like Boots than the stock photo. The example photo makes it look like an eclectic blue, but the colors are correct in person. It is so stinking cute! All in all, it's going to be a good compliment to my daughter's Dora costume and the price from Costume Craze was the best I found.

The Boots costume is super cute! My 10-month old wore the 6-12 month size to complement her 3-year-old sister, who dressed as Dora.

The fabric is thin and tends to pill up after less than an hour of wearing the costume. I have not washed it; I'm afraid it will get too scruffy looking to even donate after that.

The hood is top-heavy and tends to fall off. The velcro strap under the chin on the hood is narrow (like 1/2") and the velcro is placed too far apart, so that the hood is not held on at the neck.

The back is not held shut; there's only one velcro fastener at the top back, and the rest of the costume gaps open. We put a onesie on under it.

The tail is very short - about 1/3 the length of Boots's trademark shoulder-length tail. You can barely see the tip of the tail from the front (the picture on this site is a little misleading).

The velcro fasteners for the crotch are a good idea for diaper changes, but they just pull apart while the child is wearing the costume. If I had realized that, I would have replaced them with snaps before Halloween.

I can't speak for how comfortable it was for my kiddo, but since the velcro kept coming undone, it gapped open in the crotch and back, and the hood kept falling off, I imagine she wasn't the most comfortable.

Other than the few things I mentioned, it's really cute, and good enough to wear for a couple hours. It's a good value for the price, if your kiddo really wants to be Boots and you don't have time to make a costume from scratch.
