I bought this costume for my daughter's middle school Halloween dance. It arrived quickly and looked exactly as it was shown in the picture. This costume isn't cheaply made, and I was impressed with the quality! The size was perfect and true to size per the chart. I just wish there were more costumes that were age-appropriate that catered to adolescents.

order bigger size as costumes fit in general very small ... keep that in mind especially if you need to put other clothing on (Mardi Gras in winter time ...)

Used this for a run of Alice in Wonderland for the caterpillar's transformation. The actress loved it and had no complaints. Worked well for the nearly 20 performances, and we still have it. Need something to wear underneath as it is very short on the sides. We used a pink unitard underneath and she looked fabulous. It's only basic poly-type materials, but stood up okay for our needs. I also added some cotton straps under the purple net straps for extra support. We tacked the wings to the straps to keep them from flopping around as much and also put a small piece of fabric under the exposed mesh triangle on the front of this outfit to provide more coverage.
