    All in all it was a good purchase. There were a lot of stitching that need to be trimmed. I am glad that my mom is good with sewing because once I trimmed the strings the needed to be reinforced.

    I am actually very pleased with the quality of the dress, the material is very sturdy. I'm glad that I read the other review about needing to hem the dress, because that will be the case for me. My 3-year-old is petite, and I will need to hem about 8 inches. That's fine because it means she'll be able to enjoy this dress for a few years as I can just let it down when necessary. The sleeves were a bit long too, so it was simply too big for her. I bought this dress for my brother's wedding, and I am relieved that I don't have to sew- there is no way I could make a dress like this myself for this price. It was the right color too, so we chose this one even though I assumed it would be a little big. This dress was an instant hit with my little girl, and the headband is nice too- yay for an easy hair style! I'm very happy with my purchase.

      The fabric is a lot better than I thought. The design is nice. At this age most people didn't know that she was Juliette. So be warn.
      When I received the dress, 1 ribbon was missing from the sleeve. I cut them all off and use different ribbon since I just didn't have the time to find another costume The finishing was horrible. I spent a good 5 minutes cut and tuck the threads. This costume doesn't have closure, so it was a slip on dress. It hangs like a mu'u mu'u. The head piece is not round like pictured. I had to undo the stitches and stuffed it, otherwise it doesn't look nice and it won't stay in place. On top of that the gold ribbon used is scratchy and itchy against my daughter skin. My daughter stands at 48inches and 53 LBS. I had to hemmed up about 3 inches. she would have to stuffed herself up with pillows to have the dress look nice and fit as pictured. It looked like it was a returned item. The picture came with the costume was of that Superwoman. I wonder if I would have had problem returning for refund?
      But my daughter had fun wearing it so at the end it was all that matter.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
