Comments about Rubies Costume Company 20's Flapper Coat:

This coat is fairly well made. The materials are ok, but certainly not top notch. The main body of the coat is a rough chiffon with a burnt-out velvet rose pattern, so it is translucent and will provide no warmth. The main drawback is that the gold tassel which is shown in the product image is unfortunately not present.
The coat is acceptable for the 50% sale price I paid, but I definitely would have felt cheated had I paid full price.

    This costume was far better than I nervously anticipated. It is a great fancy dress costume but I was looking for something that could also be worn on stage and it fitted the bill.
