For being a "one size fits most" costume, it's pretty form-fitting and I was happy with the fit. The material is very thin and see-through, though. I did not feel comfortable wearing it out as it and had to shop around for a slip to wear underneath. The tie-around belt is a metallic ribbon, which isn't as nice in real-life as it looks in the photo. The headpiece that arrived with my costume looks nothing like the one in the photo. Not that big of a deal to me, as I thought it was cute. Unfortunately, the stretchy band snapped within a couple hours so I couldn't wear it the rest of the evening.

I am keeping this outfit b/c I think I can find ways to make it better, but if you're searching for your first roman costume, I'd suggest you try a different costume.
