lovely costume for "asian" day for my 9 year old at school. she was the only one wearing this costume. Fit great, bright colors, no rips or tears. The only thing is that the underskirt is a bit cheaply made-- the very bottom has the taffeta/tulle ruffles but the part that is covered by the top (a.k.a. the obi) is just a cheap pressed polyester/cotton (like the lining of a diaper, but stronger). and the waistband is very thin elastic which if it's too small would really "dig into" her waist. Fortunately it all fit and my daughter loved it. the headband piece is awesome
