My daughter loves wearing this costume, especially the hat, but does say it makes her head hot! She wore the costume over a white shirt and tights for over 4 hours straight on Halloween. She used both before and after trick-or-treat for dress up. So far it is holding up well. Only negative is that it came 3 days past the promised shipping date and the vest is connected to the skirt which bothers my daughter a little. Overall I recommend the costume:)

This costume was a success for halloween. My 3 year old had a blast with it and is still wearing it for dress-up. The polyester material is pretty durable. She did not like the yarn hair that was attached to the hat (she wanted to stay a brunette), so I trimmed it off and all was fine. It would have been nice if the hat had a cord so that it could have hung on her back while trick or treating, but again, we lived. The only slight disappointment that my daughter expressed was that it did not come with the star that appears on the belt in the picture. I didn't even notice this, but it was important to my little one. Also, the foam hat was a little misshapen, but again, it wasn't a big deal. [...] the price was excellent. My 3 year old loved it, and I'm really happy with the purchase.
