      This was not a terrible product. Considering what I paid for it and I ordered it kinda close to the holiday, it was a fine costume for a child. Because lets face it, kids mess up stuff pretty quickly.

      I have to complain about the crown; it was made of fabric, so the points never stood up and were always kind of flopped over. I would try to find a way to buy another headpiece since the crown is attached, or buy another crown and try and remove the other one without causing too much damage to the hood.

      Also, the boot covers did not last long, the straps to hold them over the shoes broke pretty quickly and I kept thinking my sons shoes were untied...had to pin the strap on eventually.

      All in all, this costume worked out fine for what we needed it to, but I'm glad I didn't spend more than I did on it. Plus, my 8 year old son loved being a Knight!

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

          My son wore the costume for the school trip to Renaissance Festival. He was the only one wearing it, which made him unique in the crowd. The costume is comfortable and not in the least hot or itchy, was perfect for the mid-November weather in Louisiana.
