    I'm a teacher, and my department decided we would all dress as superheroes. I ordered the plus size because the others were too short/sexy to be school appropriate. Since I generally wear a size 8-10 dress I fully expected to have to do some alterations. When I tried the dress on there was a tiny bit of bagginess through the abdomen, but nothing that really made getting out the sewing machine worth it. Last time I checked, an 8 or a 10 were not considered plus sizes. This costume would be quite snug on anyone more than a size or two larger than me, and I'm not sure the belt would fit anyone much larger than me at all.

    As far as the costume itself, I thought it was super cute. It looks very high end as far as costumes go, and I love the metallic red and gold. I have had TONS of compliments. The comments in the other review about the boot covers are true... They could definitely be easier to secure. I solved this problem by purchasing a roll of red duct tape and taping the edge of the covers to my shoes.

    Over all, this is a very cute costume, but if you are much bigger than a 12/14 you may want to look for another option.

    Boot covers could do with a litle extra straping to hold them on and to help cover the shoes well.
    But otherwise fantastic costume.
    Dress and cape stayed in place. Good length.
