The material wasn't the most comfortable--it felt a little scratchy and fragile. I hand-washed it once before wearing it and that helped the comfort, but I also got the impression it wouldn't hold together after several launderings. Fortunately I only planned to wear it once, for Halloween, and it held up well for the whole day.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
